Charity Officer – Brother Charles Boulton
The Catenians run two national charities namely the Benevolent Fund and the Bursary Fund. The Circles from time to time also support other local charities through contributions from their Circle members.
The Charity Officer is one of three Circle members who liaise with the Benevolent Fund Trustees to help and aid any member who is under financial pressure.
Similarly, this small committee is in place to promote the Bursary Fund which dispenses grants to young people who attend as Brancardiers in Lourdes or who give up their free time during holidays to work overseas in missions, hospitals, schools etc.
