12noon, Sat. 15th August, – Zoom meeting – Feast Of the Assumption and V.J. Day.commemoration
At 12noon, Saturday 15th August, Liverpool South Circle(164) are holding a Zoom Video Conferencing Social meeting to celebrate the Feast Of the Assumption and commemorate V.J. Day.
The meeting will start with prayers to celebrate the Feast of the Assumption. The meeting will continue with Brother Jim Reid giving a presentation to commemorate V.J. Day on the experience of his father, Jack Reid, as an RAF doctor in India and the Burma campaign leading to the liberation of Singapore during the Second World War.
All are invited, Brothers, Ladies, Family and Friends, to what will be both fascinating and poignant, 75years since the end of the Second World War.
I will open the meeting at 11.30am,Saturday 15th August, to allow people to join before the meeting starts at 12noon. Details have been circulated to Province. The invite will be circulated separately to Brothers by e-mail.
