Joint Meeting with Liverpool (No 4) Circle, Monday 10th November

South Liverpool Brothers were joined by Brothers from Liverpool Circle for their November meeting, their normal meeting venue, the Adelphi Hotel being unavailable.

There were 66 at the meeting including 45 Brothers from the 2 Circles ,Visitors and Guests. The principal visitor was Provincial President, Jim Perry. After the meeting all enjoyed a fine dinner in the Alicia Hotel.

Paul McCarthy, a partner at EAD Solicitors and member of South Liverpool Catenians, (who was last year’s chief adjudicator in the competition and has fulfilled this role many times in the past) said that EAD were proud to sponsor again the Province 4 Public Speaking Competition, which was to take place at Archbishop Beck High School on Friday 20^th March 2015, when he presented a cheque to Provincial President, Jim Perry, from EAD Solicitors for £750 to help fund the Event. He added that he and his partners were delighted to accede to the request by the President of South Liverpool and former partner at EAD Solicitors, Charles Boulton, for continuing sponsorship of the event.
