Manchester Ship Canal, 6th May 2015
Despite the wet and cold day, 20 brothers and their wives enjoyed the 6hr excursion on Mersey Ferry boat along the Manchester Canal from Liverpool Pier Head to Salford Quays.
There were many unique views from the Ferry boat, a few are seen below. The Ferry was well equipped with two bars where hot and cold drinks and snacks could be bought. Most Brothers brought picnics, which were rapidly eaten to keep out the cold!
On arrival at Salford Quays, we had 2hrs until the return coach trip to enjoy the Lowry Gallery, the Imperial War Museum and dine in the many restaurants in the Outlet Mall.
