Saturday 12th March : Melly Fountain Talk
Brother Phil Gray gave a talk on Charles Melly and the Melly Fountains on at 12noon, Saturday 12th March, which was enjoyed by 20 brothers and their family and friends.
Talk included meat/cheeseboard in the first floor function space in Pruno, 256 Woolton Rd, Liverpool L16 8NE
The 30 minutes talk was followed by a visit to the fountain by the Halfway pub and back to Pruno for cheeseboard.
£130.00 was raised for David’s charity Meningitis Now.
A very successful event and our thanks go to Brother Phil for shedding light on one of the lesser known Liverpool Victorian Philanthropists.
