ANNUAL WINE TASTING at the ADELPHI HOTEL on FRIDAY 31st October 2014.
Over 50 Brother, wives and firends enjoyed our annual wine tasting at the Adelphi Hotel.
Our Sommelier: Mike Wynn of Cultural Wines, Dale Street, Liverpool, presented a variety of mainly Spanish wines for all to taste and enjoy. A quiz was held linked to the wines presented and attempts were made, with varing degrees of success, to identify the wines and the grapes. This was followed by a Hot pot supper.
A very enjoyable evening was had by all. Our thanks go to Brother Dan McCarthy assisted by Peter Colvin for organising an excellent event.
