Bangor-on-Dee Races, Friday 19th August
Brothers, their wives and guests made their annual summer trip to the races. This year we went to Bangor on Dee Races on Friday 19th August. A full day trip, followed by dinner at a local restaurant on the way home. This year we stopped at the Glasfryn Restaurant /Pub, Raikes Lane, Mold, CH7 6LR for an excellent meal.
We picnicked on the course before the racing started. It was raining and quite blustery until about 4.00pm when the sun shone for the last couple of races. Despite the rain, it was an enjoyable day for all concerned.
