Christmas Message from Brother President Jim Reid

Season’s Greetings to all

My dear Brothers of 164 South Liverpool Family, Friends and supporters of our Circle, on behalf of Pam and Myself, may we wish you all a very Happy and a Holy Christmas and New Year full of the joys and expectations you wish for yourselves.

I am very much aware that for some brothers and friends of our Circle things have been tough this past year. We have lost some Brothers, family, friends, and a number have been having to cope with poor health. But we all have one constant, our Faith. We can add to the constant, our friendships and our families, the three pillars that we hope as Catenians will keep our heads up, even when all around seems bleak.

I speak from experience when I say that Brothers, wives and family have been able to provide not only support to Pam as she went through her recent illness, but the power of prayer and the sick list prayers form a number of Province Circles, not only gave spiritual support but we also knew that our friends were thinking of her and us as a family.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Council for their hard work in the administration of Circle life. We had a number of events throughout the year, our away day at the races, our Clergy night, joint meetings with other Circles and our 800th Meeting that was a great success. It was sad that the Bowls was lost to deluge and flood but that could not be helped.

As President of 164 it has been my pleasure and my privilege to steer the ship for another year. None of this would have been possible without the fantastic support of Council and family and of course all brothers and supporters, without which our efforts would be futile.

In conclusion may our prayer for you all be that God grant you a very Happy, Holy and Peaceful Christmas and New Year.

Yours in Faith Family and Friendship

Jim and Pam Reid

Jim Reid

President South Liverpool Circle 164
