The Circle is holding a Late Summer Social, 7.30pm, Saturday 3rd September, at East Wavertree Lawn Tennis Club, 129a Dunbabin Road, L16 7QQ.

Paul Burns who is known to many of us, will be chatting about his most recent book. ‘Grassendale , Birth of a Suburb’. It is a very good read and if you have ancestors from the area, they are possibly referenced.

Arriving at 7.30 pm, enjoy a glass of wine before the talk. A sandwich buffet is also included. Ticket price is £10 which includes a glass or two of wine and buffet.

It is a great venue and is where we held our Summer Wine Event.
