The Circle celebrated its 65th anniversary with the Sapphire Ball Ladies Night at Ziba in the Raquet Club.

72 Brothers, wives and guests attended to enjoy a fine meal with dancing afterwards. All were entertained after dinner by the daughters of Brother Attilio Lotto; Alesia and Sophia, with an excellent recital of three songs, finishing with ‘You will never walk alone’. The manager of Boodles, Jewellers, a guest Brother President Phil Gray, gave a short talk on Sapphires and their history as gemstones, Much to the delight of the Ladies, he had brought three superb  examples of Sapphire rings in Diamond and Gold settings, which were passed around for all to view.

The nominated charity for the night was Silverline, £320.00 was raised from the raffle and donations. An excellent contribution.

A successful celebration for our 65th Anniversary.
