Family Race Day, Bangor-on-Dee, Friday 31st August 2018.

Friday 31st August dawned with bright sunshine which augured well for a good day at the races.

14 Brothers and their wives/guests from South Liverpool met with others from Liverpool and Birkenhead Circles on the course ground for a picnic before the first race. The sun continued to shine all day and money was both won and lost by all on a great days racing at this very relaxed and friendly location. All enjoyed the occasion which was enhanced by the glorious weather.

After racing, most continued onto the Glasfryn restaurant in Mold, where they enjoyed an excellent evening meal together.

The day was the perfect opportunity for Catenians to get together in the spirit of friendship and fun.
