Brothers from St Helens and South Liverpool Circles attended Mass at St Mary’s, Lowe House, to present Bursary Fund contributions to 39 young Pilgrim volunteers attending the Lourdes Diosesan Pilgrimage.
Brother Charles Boulton, Bursary Fund Trustee and member of South Liverpool Circle addressed the congregation explaining the role of the Catenian Bursary Fund prior to the blessing and final hymn. Two Coach leaders were present, who handed out the 39 cheques after mass.
The young Pilgrim volunteers are from both St Helens and Liverpool areas. Brothers from both St Helens, led by their President Bernard Fyles, and Liverpool South Circles attended the Mass and presentation supporting the young Pilgrim volunteers and providing further information, speaking to parishioners before and after mass.
