Annual Family Bowls Competition, Sunday, 23rd August.

The annual Family Bowls Competition organised by South Liverpool Circe took place at Liverpool Cricket Club on a sunny Sunday afternoon on the 23rd August. The competition was a round robin format to ensure all players could spend plenty of time on the green. Some spectators took advantage of the weather and brought along a picnic and also the bar was open so players and spectators could quench their thirst! The eventual winners on the day with an unbeaten record were Roger and Sandra Mullin from St. Helens. They are pictured with their trophy and a bottle of bubbly to celebrate their win.
