Platinum Jubilee Meeting – Monday 13th March, 2023

A very successful Platinum Jubilee Meeting was held at Liverpool Cricket Club in the presence of GBNC President Roger Lillie and his wife Margaret. Also present was Bishop Tom Williams, The Circle was celebrating 70 years since its foundation in March 1953, another coronation year.

Over 70 Brothers, their wives and guests from around the Province came together to enjoy a very pleasant and sociable evening. Everybody enjoyed the menu of Cheese Tart, Beef Roulade and Profiteroles.

Brother President Jim Reid welcome all to the event and thanked all for their support.

GBNC President Roger Lillie addressed the gathering and congratulated the Circle on its 70years. He thanked the Brothers for maintaining its commitment during the last few difficult years and its ongoing support for the Bursary Fund and other charities. He said that the Association was moving forward from the restructuring and emphasised the paramount role of the Circle in maintaining membership.
